The pillows: I wanted to include tiny pillows in the MammoTotes, but I had no idea who to get to sew them. I looked to Facebook and the many sewing groups as well as friends of friends. Thank you to Kim Correa; Crystal Smith, her daugter Adilyn McDowell, Crystal's mom Kathy Wilson; Dawn Meme, her daughter Emerald, Dawn's mom Debbie for answering my call! Your selflessness is heart-warming.
On Nov. 18, I picked up a second batch of pillows. Thank you to Dawn, Emerald, and Debbie (who is also a Breast Cancer survivor) for answering my request for an additional 50+ pillows. I am incredibly appreciative of these ladies!
Additional items going in the MammoTotes will be Arnica & drain holders. Thank you to Boiron for the in-kind donation of Arnica and the Warrior Sisters' help with drain holders! These items positively add to a Breast Cancer patient's quality of life.
